Gábor Galavics, who is to give a concert at the Arts Festival on July 30th, has just won the Slovenia International Clarinet Competition. Congratulations Gábor, we can’t wait to hear you play!
Gloria Carter, our membership and tickets queen, reports that ticket sales are off to a really good start. They’re selling faster than last year, so you might want to head into town and pick yours up now! Tickets are on sale at the Church Stretton Visitor Centre (in the library building) and at John Thomas, Florist extraordinaire, on the north side of Sandford Avenue. If you can’t get into town to buy your tickets, don’t despair. Just click on our booking form. You can fill it in on-line (it will even calculate the totals for you!) then print it out and send it off to Gloria with a cheque. She’ll send you your tickets post haste!
