Getting the right angle
Philip Davis (the Art Festival publicist) and I just visited Alison Holt’s studio to do a photo shoot for an upcoming press release. Gosh – her stuff is gorgeous! You can see pictures of it on her web site, but they don’t do the real things justice. It was also wonderful to see some works in progress and some of the many threads she uses to give depth and texture to her pieces. I’m really getting excited about the festival now, and especially about the Art Exhibition!
